About me

Entrepreneurship in Bharat isn't a theory.
It's a survival skill.
Webverbal is not a news aggregator. It is a research archive built by a founder who spent 11 years in the trenches of India’s unorganized market.
The Journey: Corporate to Grassroots
My name is Debansh Das Sharma. For the first decade of my career, I lived the corporate dream. Working in senior roles at Tata AIA and ING Vysya, I managed portfolios, understood risk, and analyzed markets from glass buildings.
But looking at spreadsheets didn't teach me about business. Classystreet did.
In 2015, I left corporate life to build Classystreet, a platform for India’s handloom artisans. For 11 years, I didn't just "run a startup." I navigated the fragmented supply chains of rural Odisha, managed cash flow without VC bailouts, and realized a hard truth:
This realization birthed Webverbal. I wanted to create a platform that documented the business logic of Bharat—not just the funding news.

(Webverbal Founder)
