Hyderabad, Telangana – Nov 26: Indrajaal Drone Defence, a Hyderabad-based deep-tech firm, has unveiled the Indrajaal Ranger, India’s first autonomous anti-drone patrol vehicle (ADPV).
Built on a rugged Toyota Hilux platform, the vehicle is powered by the proprietary SkyOS system, allowing it to detect and neutralize enemy drones while moving. Unlike traditional static defense systems, the Ranger offers a 10 km detection range and uses “soft-kill” jamming to stop threats instantly.
“Smugglers no longer cross borders on foot; they fly in minutes. The Ranger is India’s answer to this new battlefield,” said Kiran Raju, Founder of Indrajaal. The system has reportedly intercepted over 40 hostile drones during recent field trials.
